WEST ALLIS COUSINS EVOLVES WITH GROWING COMMUNITY

MILWAUKEE (July 19, 2018) – Cousins Subs® in West Allis, Wisconsin reopens in new free-standing building at 65th & Greenfield Ave.

The 2,400-sq. foot location is Cousins’ 36th restaurant to feature the company’s rebranding elements—an initiative Cousins announced in May 2016 to create a streamlined look and feel across all restaurants in the sub shop’s current and future markets.

“For the last 35 years, we’ve built a strong customer base serving the West Allis community,” said Joe Ferguson, vp of development at Cousins Subs. “The reinvestment in this development allows for a full-service drive-thru, greater visibility and the ability to meet the needs of more guests and residents of West Allis’ vibrant and growing community.”

The West Allis restaurant offers guests an improved look and feel that complements the redevelopment and growth of the city. Just as West Allis continues to revitalize, Cousins too is positioning itself as a leader in the city’s restaurant scene. By incorporating digital upgrades and new design elements, the sub shop delivers on its mission to provide a quality dining experience.

The exterior design is reflective of what guests will experience inside the restaurant ¬– an earth tone color palette, wood features and industrial finishes. Once inside, guests will enjoy the company’s Milwaukee Sub Shop restaurant design, which reflects its Midwestern roots and celebrates the hardworking, industrial culture of Cousins’ heritage.

The West Allis restaurant is one of Cousins’ first locations to serve as a test unit for its new interior digital signage package including menu boards and advertising materials displayed on high-definition monitors.

“As we remodel, relocate and open new units, we will continue to evolve our design package to best fit the demands of our guests in the spaces we call home,” said Justin McCoy, vp of marketing at Cousins Subs. “Providing our guests with a contemporary and inviting environment is always at the forefront of any design or buildout consideration. These new enhancements deliver on that premise by digitally communicating the brand’s story to our guests.”

Additional restaurant features include complimentary Wi-Fi, a full-service drive-thru, exterior patio seating and convenient parking, allowing guests to satisfy their local cravings indoors, outdoors and on-the-go. Guests can pick from Cousins’ full lineup of made to order deli-fresh and grilled subs customizable with either all-white meat chicken or USDA choice steak. The menu also pays homage to Cousins’ heritage with signature Wisconsin-based products such as Sprecher root beer, Wisconsin Cheese Curds and subs topped with all Wisconsin cheeses. The West Allis restaurant will also be among the first to serve vanilla and chocolate shakes made with Wisconsin-based dairy.
