During the month of September, a portion of the proceeds from every combo meal sold from one of our Wisconsin-based restaurants benefited the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation. Your generosity and support makes a big difference for those diagnosed with cancer in communities across Wisconsin. Through the tremendous support of the local community, we have met our fundraising goal three consecutive years—leading to a total contribution of $150,000 for local cancer research and compassionate care.
Our donation of $50,000 funds locally-led, pediatric cancer care and research to give children better outcomes in the fight against cancer.
Thank you for helping us create more cancer-free tomorrows!

“Thank you to all of our guests and local business partners for your patronage in support of Combos For A Cure. It is through this kind of community collaboration that we are able to make an impactful contribution to the fight against cancer.”

Our partnership with the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation (VLCF) began in June 2015 with our Make It Better Day initiative, in which we distributed more than 700 free lunches to cancer patients and caregivers at Aurora Cancer Care Centers and Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinics throughout Wisconsin.
We chose VLCF as the beneficiary of the Combos For A Cure fundraiser because donations to the organization directly support locally led, patient-centered advancements in cancer research and compassionate care throughout Wisconsin.
The Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation was established in 1971, in memory of five-time National Football League championship Green Bay Packers Coach, Vince Lombardi. His spirit, enthusiasm and commitment to excellence touched countless lives, and on September 3, 1970, he lost a battle to colon cancer, dying at only 57. In his honor, the Foundation is committed to raising funds for advancements in cancer research and compassionate care.
