The costs of opening a Cousins Subs store will vary based on many factors, including:
- Geographical differences
- Square footage
- Leasehold improvements required for existing building remodeling
- Whether the location is leased or purchased
- Equipment needs based upon anticipated volume of sales
Because of this, the following chart should only be considered an estimate of the capital needed to open and operate your restaurant during the initial 12 months after you open your business. Cousins Subs can not guarantee that you will not have additional expenses starting the business.
The numbers below are based on a strip center restaurant at 1600 square feet in size. Cousins Subs requires a minimum net worth and available capital of $250,000, with a minimum liquidity of $80,000 for a single store owner and a minimum net worth and available capital of $500,000, with minimum liquidity of $200,000 for area developers.
