Cousins Subs® to Offer Free Subs in Exchange for Donations to East Troy Food Pantry

Cousins Subs® today announced that its East Troy store will hold a community food drive on Saturday, March 6, to collect non-perishable food and hygiene items for the East Troy Food Pantry. Anyone donating three items or more will receive a free, 7½-inch ham and provolone or turkey breast sub.

The drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the store, 2541 E. Main St. in the East Brook Shopping Center.

“We’ve been open in East Troy for almost two months now, and we’re really excited to be part of this fantastic community,” said Jenny Schahczinski, who owns the East Troy Cousins with Tracy Loughney. “Many people, and the agencies that help them, are having a tough time these days. We’re looking forward to a great turnout on March 6. We invite everyone to stop by, help put much-needed food and supplies on local pantry shelves and enjoy a free and tasty Cousins Subs favorite.”

While all donations of nonperishable food items and new, unopened hygiene items will be
accepted, the East Troy Food Pantry has a particular need for laundry soap, dish soap,  tissues, sugar, flour, toothpaste and tooth brushes, Schahczinski said.
