Cousins Subs Opens New Store In Ashwaubenon, Wis.

Menomonee Falls, WI – Cousins Subs Systems, Inc. today announced the opening of a new store in Ashwaubenon, Wis. The store, at 2901 Ramada Way, is owned by the husband-and-wife team of Dennis and Karen Blaser of Green Bay.

“My wife and I have dreamed of owning a business for more than 10 years, and we are excited to bring Cousins’ fresh baked bread and quality sandwiches and salads to Ashwaubenon,” Dennis Blaser said. “Cousins Subs is a Wisconsin tradition. We’re proud to be a part of it and to share the Cousins experience with the people of Ashwaubenon.”

The new restaurant, which seats 42, is conveniently located off South Oneida Street just a few blocks from Lambeau Field. It can be reached by phone at (920) 429-2000. FAX orders are accepted at (920) 429-2005.

Karen Blaser said she and her husband explored a number of franchise opportunities before deciding on Cousins Subs. The Blasers love Cousins’ sub sandwiches and that, coupled with the company’s business philosophy and growth opportunities, made for a good fit, she said. Dennis Blaser’s background in marketing and Karen Blaser’s experience as an administrative assistant will come into play in their new venture, she said.

The Ashwaubenon store is the Blasers’ first, and the fourth Cousins in the Green Bay area. Other Cousins Subs stores are at 1905 S. Webster Ave., 2583 W. Mason St., and 2465 Lineville Road in Howard.

About Cousins Subs

Cousins Subs is based in Menomonee Falls in suburban Milwaukee, Wis., and is a national sub sandwich chain with stores throughout the Midwest and on the West Coast. The tradition of Cousins Subs started in 1972, when two transplanted cousins from Atlantic City saw the need for an East Coast-style sub shop in their new hometown. They patterned their subs after the hoagie, grinder, hero and sub sandwiches they enjoyed back East. And with a dedication to delivering quality subs at fair prices, they opened their first restaurant. From the start, the two used bread baked fresh every morning and insisted on using only the finest, freshest ingredients.
