Cousins Subs Offers A Tasty Instant Tax Refund

Menomonee Falls, WI –Employees from Cousins Subs will leave their offices early this Tax Day to assemble at the Downtown Milwaukee Post Office with a special mission – to deliver an instant tax refund to the citizens of Milwaukee.

During the busy after-work rush of taxpayers racing to beat the clock, Cousins Subs will be handing out sandwich samples and coupons to taxpayers. Ten lucky taxpayers will get an extra special treat with their already tasty instant tax refund – a $50 bill! These special sandwiches will be handed out randomly over the two hours. The cash will be wrapped under a note taped around the sub, not even Cousins Subs employees will know which sandwiches have the extra refund.

“We raise money and donate food to local nonprofits all year,” says Cousins Subs Vice President of Marketing Larry Weissman, “Tax Day is fun because we literally give back to the people of South-eastern Wisconsin – many of whom are our loyal customers.”

Tax Day is the busiest time of year for the Downtown Milwaukee Post office according to Supervisor Todd Behling. “Cars really start piling up in front of the post office after work gets out,” says Behling, “We do a great job of accommodating the extra traffic and getting cars through quickly, but having Cousins Subs on-site inevitably makes the experience a little more enjoyable for taxpayers.”

Cousins Subs employees, Cousins Subs mascot Subby and Uncle Sam will be offering Cousins Subs Instant Tax Refunds at the Milwaukee Downtown Post Office located at 345 West Saint Paul Avenue from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2007.
