Cousins Subs® to Hold Pet Food Drive for Fox Valley Humane Association
Community pet food drive to help local animal shelter
Appleton, Wis. (November 11, 2011) - Cousins Subs® at 706 W. Northland Avenue in Appleton will host a pet food drive to benefit the Fox Valley Humane Association from Monday, Nov. 14 through Sunday, December 4. Guests who donate a five-pound bag or larger of dog or cat food will receive a certificate for a free 7 ½-inch combo meal.
"The Humane Association provides a tremendously valuable service to the community and they are in great need of nutritional kibble," said Kim Seidler, owner of the Northland Avenue store. "We are very happy to do what we can to help the animals living there, and we encourage the community to stop by Cousins Subs and help feed man's best friend."
Some nutritional brands of food that will be accepted are: Science Diet, Purina One, Purina Dog Chow, Purina Puppy Chow, Purina Cat Chow and Purina Kitten Chow.
Seidler has been partnering with the Fox Valley Humane Association for several years, and is involved in annual fundraising events. "We know how special pets can be to families, and we are honored to be a part of this cause," said Seidler. "Community involvement is a big part of what Cousins Subs is about."
