Cousins Subs® and Guests to Make it a Better Day for Special Olympics Athletes Across Wisconsin

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (January 11, 2012) - Cousins Subs® announced today that participating stores throughout Wisconsin will conduct a campaign benefiting the "Special Olympics Polar Plunge." Starting Jan. 15, Cousins Subs' guests who donate $1 to Special Olympics during their visit will receive a coupon to save $1 off a 7½-inch sub on their next visit.
Guests who donate will also be able to feature their name on a polar bear icon on the wall at their local Cousins Subs to show support. Cousins Subs, best known for their hand-crafted, deli-style subs and freshly baked bread, will run the campaign through Feb. 4 and the coupons can be redeemed through March 1. Additionally, individual Cousins Subs stores will create their own teams to jump in Special Olympics Polar Plunges across Wisconsin.
"We're proud of our strong relationship with Special Olympics in all of the communities we serve, and the Polar Plunge is a great way to support for a terrific cause," said Justin McCoy, director of marketing for Cousins Subs. "We encourage everyone to visit a participating location to donate $1 and save $1 the next time they visit."
Cousins Subs hopes to raise $12,000 for Special Olympics across Wisconsin, specifically sponsoring Polar Plunges in Oshkosh, Green Bay, Muskego and Milwaukee. Participating stores include:
