FRANKLIN COUSINS SUBS® RESTAURANT RECEIVES MARKETING AWARD FOR EXCEPTIONAL COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT & GUEST EXPERIENCE

- Local franchisees, Scott & Julie Heindel and Carrie Bilicki, receive award –

FRANKLIN, Wisconsin (June 4, 2013) – Cousins Subs® has recognized Scott & Julie Heindel and Carrie Bilicki, local owners of the Cousins Subs® restaurant on Hwy. 100 and Drexel Avenue in Franklin, for exceptional community involvement and guest experience.  

They were presented the award at Cousin Subs’ Annual Meeting at the Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells on April 29th.  Approximately 200 franchisees, corporate employees, vendors and guests were in attendance.  

“Since opening their store in February 2009, the partners have hit the ground running in the Franklin community,” said Justin McCoy, vice president of marketing of Cousins Subs.  “For the past four years, they have created a family culture in-store by sponsoring and helping to plan activities such as numerous donation nights for local non-profits, Franklin’s National Night Out, the Franklin Library reading program, Music in the Park, and the Teachers Make It Better Contest.”

The Marketing Award honors the franchisee(s) who proactively markets their location through community involvement, embracing marketing programs, and delivering an exceptional in-store experience.

“Being involved in the Franklin community comes naturally to our family,’” remarked Scott Heindel.  “My simple philosophy is to really be the face of the store.  Our kids attend school in the school district, so we understand the influence that involved local businesses can have on education and youth.”

“Scott is at his store almost every day of the year,” McCoy continued.  “He bakes our signature bread early in the morning and serves guests all day.  Scott is remarkable because he takes his service one step further. He really brings the Cousins Subs’ mission to ‘Make It A Better Day’ out into the Franklin community.”
